A New Beginning for Nobu

Nobu Kuala Lumpur now boasts a new location and a wide selection of new features

-

Has there ever been a name more synonymous with gourmet dining than Nobu? Since first opening its doors in Menara 3 Petronas seven years ago, the Malaysian branch of this legendary brand has been delighting local diners with its stylish takes on Japanese-peruvian cuisine.

This year, Nobu Kuala Lumpur shifts to a deluxe location in the Shoppes at Four Seasons Place. All its classic dishes, from Black Cod Miso to Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno, can now be savoured in a new, luxurious ambiance, replete with a dazzling view of the KLCC Park and its iconic fountain.

The new Nobu Kuala Lumpur is designed by celebrated architect Severine Tatangelo of Californiabased firm Studio PCH. The 215-pax restaurant is accessible by elevator from the Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur or Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, where a staff member will be on standby to show guests the way.

Food is prepared by executive chef Phillip

Leong and his team in a state-of-the-art kitchen, utilising a specially-designed kitchen exhaust that’s a first for Malaysia. Those who like getting up close and personal with food preparation should note that Nobu is reintroducing tableside experiences for special promotions. Chefs will prepare dishes right at guests’ tables, allowing them to witness culinary magic firsthand.

Those seeking more intimate dining affairs can book any of the three Private Rooms available.

These rooms are separated by partitions and can be transformed into one large room for 60 pax.

Looking to wet your whistle? Visit the Sake Room and be spoilt for choice at the large variety of Japanese alcoholic drinks awaiting you. Specially sourced from Hokusetsu, Japan, these sake are made exclusively for members of the Nobu Group.

Whether for an intimate family gathering, a boisterous party, or a ritzy product launch, the new Nobu Kuala Lumpur is definitely one of the finest dining venues the city has to offer.
