A good, flavourful starter is the recommended murg kebab, a tandoori chicken drumstick served with pickled vegetables and a dip.
The signature rogan josh is Kashmiri braised lamb curry done with hints of onion, tomato, ginger and garlic. Chunky yet tender lamb portions are well balanced in flavour by the spices in the rich sauce. Served at the right temperature, this dish is very close to perfection.
Sizeable lobster portions served in a creamy onion-tomato sauce and a wonderful blend of Madras spices make up the aptly named Lobster Madras. The meat is tender and moist, and together with the subtle and balanced combination of spices make this dish most enjoyable indeed. Vegetable Handi consists of a medley of vegetables including cauliflower, carrots, beans, capsicum, onion, fresh chilli and garlic in a mildly spicy yet flavourful ginger sauce.
Garlic naan and Kandahar naan – a sweet, coconut-filled flatbread – are great carbohydrates to go with the dishes.
