KUALA LUMPUR: Prasarana Malaysia Bhd has collaborated with Transport for London for a work placement programme to facilitate the exchange technical and operational information in public transportation.

"We want to give enough room and opportunities to Prasarana's employees to improve their skills for the benefit of public transport users.

"The programme, which starts this year, involves senior officials from both organisations undertaking and operationalising mutually agreed projects for a minimum period of two months," he told reporters here yesterday.

He was speaking after signing a memorandum of understanding, on behalf of Prasarana, with TFL Surface Transport Managing Director Leon Daniels.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prasarana Chairman Tan Sri Ismail Adam and British High Commissioner to Malaysia Vicki Treadell.

The programme also involves sharing of professional expertise and experiences between Prasarana and Surface Transport.
