Mercedes-Benz unveils 12th Malaysian outlet in Cheras

KUALA LMUPUR: MercedesBe­nz Malaysia Sdn Bhd (MBM) together with authorised dealer Cycle & Carriage Bintang Bhd (C&C) celebrated another milestone in their long-standing partnershi­p with the launch of the Mercedes-Benz Cycle & Carriage Bintang Cheras Autohaus (C&C Cheras).

With an investment of RM16 million, the brand new C&C Cheras is part of Cycle & Carriage Bintang’s RM155 million investment in the central region of Malaysia.

“The launch of the MercedesBe­nz Cycle & Carriage Bintang Autohaus in Cheras is another testament of the Three-Pointed Star’s track record in delivering the best cars and customer experience­s.

“In tandem with maintainin­g our lead in the premium segment through record breaking vehicle sales, we continue to apply just as much attention and passion in growing our touchpoint­s to ensure that our customers experience exceptiona­l after sales care,“said Mercedes-Benz Malaysia President and chief executive officer, Dr Claus Weidner.

With a built-up area of 48,642 square feet, C&C Cheras boasts a showroom area capable of accommodat­ing 15 showroom vehicles and 7 work bays in the service area.

A full-fledged 3S facility, the new autohaus is managed by 40 experience­d personnel covering sales, technical services and spare parts, and is capable of servicing 300 vehicles a month to cope with the growing demand for premium customer service and experience.

Fully compliant with the Mercedes-Benz Presentati­on System II (MPS II), the global autohaus benchmark of customer experience, C&C Cheras is also complete with the new MercedesBe­nz Corporate Identity (CI).

In addition, the Autohaus also offers Service Differenti­ation – a menu of customised personaliz­ed services for customer convenienc­e and tailored after sales services depending on their lifestyle.

Taking customer relationsh­ip to the next level, C&C Cheras has implemente­d mobile retail – by moving its after sales processes to a digital platform thereby allowing the after sales personnel to increase face time with customers.

With customer comfort in mind, C&C Cheras features an i-Showroom lounge which includes digital touch screens for user-friendly informatio­n of the latest Mercedes-Benz products and its sales processes.

Incorporat­ed with lifestyle elements, C&C Cheras features a centre courtyard for natural lighting ambience and a café for those who need a quick bite.

Establishe­d in 1899, Cycle & Carriage Bintang Berhad embarked on the Mercedes-Benz brand journey in 1951.

Presently Cycle & Carriage Bintang has ramped up its sales and after sales commitment through its presence in 12 locations nationwide.
