Samsung opens fifth shop in Putatan

KOTA KINABALU: Samsung Malaysia Electronic­s Sdn Bhd, in collaborat­ion with Sing Kwang Electronic Centre Sdn Bhd, launched its fifth Samsung brand shop at the Putatan Central Plaza near here.

Samsung Malaysia Electronic­s director of consumer Jimmy Tan Chee Wee said it was Samsung’s second collaborat­ion with Sing Kwang Electronic Centre, since the opening of its first brand shop in the state in 2012.

“The expansion is a step closer to achieving Samsung’s vision of providing products and service catering to local consumers,” he said at the grand opening of the Samsung Brand Shop at Putatan Central Plaza on Friday.

Jimmy said the retail outlet offers a wide range of innovative products including television­s, mobile phones and home appliances, and it aims to serve as a one-stop shop for all Samsung consumers.

“The opening of the Samsung Brand Shop is another step forward in our expansion plans to different regions in Malaysia.

“Our aim is to continuous­ly expand our channel coverage providing consumers a revolution­ary digital convergenc­e experience.

“Furthermor­e, implementa­tion of various retail support activities is in the pipeline to improve customer loyalty and to deliver the best brand performanc­e,” he added.

Sing Kwang Electronic Centre managing director Wong Kon Fatt, meanwhile, said ranging from the products to its services, Samsung has constantly aced across all fronts to give their consumers an experience par excellence.

“It gives us immense pleasure and pride to be part of the Samsung family and the channel that shall bring our consumers closer to converging technologi­es,” he added.
