Amber Heard’s sex scenes led to divorce from Depp
LOS ANGELES: It has been disclosed that Amber Heard’s sex scenes in the unreleased movie “London Fields” contributed to her divorce from Johnny Depp.
An obsessively jealous Depp had even ordered her to pull out of the movie, a filed lawsuit indicates.
Producer Christopher Hanley claims that the pressure Depp put on his then wife to bow out of unreleased movie “London Fields” played a part in their divorce.
The new papers filed are part of a legal minefield surrounding the project; producers are suing Heard for US$10 million over a contract dispute, while she is counter-suing over accusations she was the victim of sexploitation.
In Hanley’s latest response he claims “Heard’s misconduct’ on the film ‘might have resulted, at least in part, from her tumultuous relationship with Mr Depp”.
According to a London-based Daily Mail report, Depp had “ordered” his then-wife Heard to step away from the movie that had sex scenes. The alleged pressure that Depp put on Heard reportedly contributed to their divorce.
The sex scenes are said to be at the centre of the issue as the actress “reversed course, apparently under perceived or actual pressure from Depp”.
Said Hanley: “The provocative nature of Heard’s femme fatale role in the film was a factor leading to her divorce from Depp.”
There also is new speculation that it’s Heard who caused Depp to reject the initial script of “Pirates of the Caribbean 5”.
That first script starred a female villain who allegedly reminded Depp of Heard. Since his marriage was imploding when he read that part of the script, Depp reportedly associated the female villain with Heard.
That part of the script caused him to reject that character.
