Tham, Victor win Extreme 4x4 Challenge Hardcore challenge

TAMBUNAN: Tham Vui Pin and his partner Victor Lee emerged as the champions in the Visit Tambunan 2017 Extreme 4x4 Challenge Hardcore category, which ended here recently.

Tham and Victor obtained 357 points and took home cash prize totalling RM25,000.

Th second place, with cash prize of RM12,000, was won by Liew Fui Kong and his partner Augustine Ara with 351 points, while in third place were Lo Pui Min and his partner Bisson Masang with 332 points and a cash prize of RM8,000.

In the Amateur category, Stone and his partner Hendry emerged as the champions by securing 294 points and took home RM8,000.

The second place was won by Albin Gurah and his partner Wison Madalun with 267 points and a cash prize of RM5,000, and the third place was won by Kampung Lau, with 257 points and received RM3,000.

The winner of the sensation vehicles in the amateur category was Badrul Aliyu, and the hardcore category was won by Tsen Vun Kau @ Sayur Manis, who each received RM100.

The best driver in the amateur category was Albin Gurah, and the hardcore category was won by Lo Fui Min who each received RM500.

The best co-driver in the amateur category was Wilson Madalun, and the winner of the hardcore category was Augustine Ara who each received RM500.

A total of 23 vehicles participat­ed in the challenge which started on June 8 and ended on June 11. It was flagged off by Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Infrastruc­ture Developmen­t Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan.

All the prizes were presented by District Officer Thomas Logijin.
