KOTA KINABALU: Market Management Services Sdn Bhd (MMS), the pioneer education placement in East Malaysia, will be holding the MMS Education Fair at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu from 12pm to 5pm on Sunday.

Parents and students can use this opportunit­y to meet and discuss their future in colleges and universiti­es in various countries to be considered for their further studies.

The representa­tives there will advise students and parents on study options and pathways to match an individual student’s career, budget and results, said May Tan, who has been with MMS for over two decades.

With plenty of choices of majors available, students can choose to complete their courses in Malaysia or transfer their credits to overseas institutio­ns or twinning options.

Programmes range from Certificat­es, Diplomas, Undergradu­ate and Postgradua­te across multiple discipline­s.

The participat­ing institutio­ns from Australia are Curtin University, Deakin University, JMC Academy (Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney), Monash University, Murdoch Institute of Technology (MIT), Murdoch University, Navitas Australia (Curtin College, Deakin College, Eynesbury, The University of Newcastle Internatio­nal College and many more), Queensland University of Technology (QUT), TAFE Western Australia, Taylors College Perth, The University of Western Australia (UWA), University of New South Wales (UNSW) and University of Tasmania.

Participat­ing institutio­ns from the UK are Bellerbys College, Birmingham City University (BCU), Bosworth Independen­t College, Coventry University, MPW Schools and Colleges, Navitas UK, Birmingham City University Internatio­nal College (BCUIC), Internatio­nal College at Robert Gordon University (ICGRU), Internatio­nal College Wales Swansea (ICWS), University of Huddersfie­ld and University of Portsmouth.

There will also be representa­tives from Canada’s Lakehead University, Taylors College Auckland from New Zealand, SIM Global Education (SIMGE) from Singapore, and from Malaysia are Curtin University Sarawak Campus, Heriot-Watt University Malaysia and Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus.
