KK City Hall supports 7K Run
KOTA KINABALU: The general manager of Sutera Harbour Marina, Golf & Country Club, Rick Blackie and the committee of the 7K Charity Run paid a courtesy call to Kota Kinabalu City Mayor Datuk Yeo Boon Hai at his office on Wednesday.
Rick also invited Yeo to flag off the Second Flag Off where VVIPs, guests as well as the members from the three beneficiaries - Sabah Thalassaemia Society, Special Olympics Sabah and PEMADAM Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu - will take a shorter route around the resort before returning to the Covered Tennis Court.
DBKK has been supporting the 7K Charity Run since its inception in 2000 where it also provided dustbins and barricades for the event.
The 7K Charity Run is a litter-free event and everyone is asked to cooperate to ensure the cleanliness of the 7K route and venue.
Borneo Housing Mortgage Finance, KPJ Damai Specialist Hospital, KFC (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, SM Tshung Tshin, SRK Sacred Heart and SMK Limbanak have also registered for the run.
Registration is still available at the Member Relations Counter located at the Sutera Harbour Marina & Country Clun from 8am to 10pm. Registration is at RM40 per adult and RM30 per child/student inclusive of a drifit 7K T-shirt.
