Sabah veteran singer to perform at Sandakan hotel
SANDAKAN: Sabahan and veteran singer, Mohammad Ariffin Khan, more fondly known as Sammy Ariff, will be making another appearance just four months from his previous show here.
Sammy, who is said to have a voice that can range from that of Tom Jones, Engelbird Humperdink or even Broery Marantika will take you through the evergreen era.
This time around Best Brew of Four Points Sheraton hotel here will celebrate the evening with Beach Party theme and there will be prizes for the best dressed male and female with irresistable lucky draw prizes.
Sammy will be changing his repertoire from the previous performance as he has so many ardent followers who wait to hear his mesmerizing voice.
When spoken over the phone, Sammy said that he had many fans who had already been calling him to place bookings so that they would get the best seats.
Sammy, who also is a professional Master of Ceremonies, has also performed for major concerts where Malaysia’s Prime Minister was in attendance.
He was also the winner of Best Performer Pujaan Nescafe in 1992/1994.
The RM30 nett first drink charge for the evening will include a choice draft beer, red or white wine or soft drinks.
