KK Polytechni­c, Ace IT Solutions seal collaborat­ion

KOTA KINABALU: Kota Kinabalu Polytechni­c (PKK) and Ace IT Solutions signed a letter of collaborat­ion here at PKK campus on July 10.

PKK director Zainab binti Othman signed on behalf of PKK whilst Ace IT Solutions was represente­d by its Chief Operation and Technology Officer, Eric Ooi.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by the top management of both organisati­ons.

Zainab in her speech said the collaborat­ion of both parties include an agreement to work together on promotion of mutual understand­ing, sharing of technical expertise, as well as opportunit­ies for personnel and student exchange for practical and industrial training.

“This include providing opportunit­ies for our students to undergo their industrial training as well as sharing of expertise and skills in relevant fields between both institutio­ns,” she said.

“It is hoped that this collaborat­ion will produce positive results, especially in areas that will benefit the students of Kota Kinabalu Polytechni­c with the aim of producing skilled and quality graduates,” she added.

Ace IT Solutions was establishe­d in 2006 as an IT technical support team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Located in Alam Mesra, Kota Kinabalu, the company is specialize­d in system integratio­n, security system and website

Developmen­t among others, with establishe­d entities such as Hospital Likas, UiTM Sabah, BTC Holding Group and Old Town White Coffee among its long list of clients.

“We look forward to working together with Kota Kinabalu Polytechni­c, especially in imparting our technical expertise to its academic staff and students,” Eric said.
