Dialogue session to explain documentation process

-

SEMPORNA: A suitable method is needed to ensure the government’s efforts to help the people in solving their documentation problem could achieve its target.

Assistant Finance Minister Datuk Ramlee Marhaban said the government is aware of the difficulties faced by the people, especially in this area when it comes to document problems.

However, Ramlee said he has no authority to talk further on the documentation process and the questions or concerns of the people should be answered by the relevant department or agency.

“Therefore, we will organize a dialogue session in the near future and will involve the relevant agencies and related departments to answer all the documentation related questions.

“I believe through this effort, the people can voice their concerns and understand the process involved,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ramlee who is also Bugaya assemblyman, reminded civil servants, including the Imams to focus solely on carrying out their responsibilities and not dally in political work.

He said it is an offence for civil servants to be involved in politics, not to mention the opposition.

“If they (the Imams) are supposed to manage religious matters, then do it properly. Do not use your role as Imam to influence the people on political matters.”

“It is better for civil servants to just attend to their work,” he said, adding that they (civil servants) should not blame any party if action were taken against them.
