Woman denies using forged tourist guide licence

KOTA KINABALU: A woman was charged at the Magistrate’s Court here with using a forged regional specific tourist guide (RSTG) licence.

Thein Yun Moi, 36, who appeared before magistrate Cindy Mc Juce Balitus, denied the charge framed under Section 471 of the Penal Code.

The charge carries a jail term of up to two years or a fine, or both, upon conviction.

She was alleged to have used the forged RSTG licence as genuine at the car park area of Masjid Bandaraya in Likas here at 10.30 am on March 31.

The court fixed August 24 this year for case management and released the accused on RM4,500 bail in two local sureties, pending disposal of the case.
