Suria Sabah holds first fragrance fair
KOTA KINABALU: Suria Sabah Shopping Mall concluded its first fragrance fair after three days of various fragrance sales, sample redemption, new fragrance showcase and a Facebook contest.
The Suria Sabah Events Department collaborated with Metrojaya and The Body Shop for their first fragrance fair from July 28 to 30, which they held at the ground floor in front of Metrojaya.
During the fair, exclusive discounts were offered for fragrances, bundles, gift sets and body products of various brands available in Metrojaya and The Body Shop.
Additional gifts such as miniature and body care products were also given away with purchase of certain fragrances, plus redemption for free samples of fragrance vial based on a first come first served basis.
A selection of new fragrances were showcased on Saturday, courtesy of Abercrombie & Fitch's First Instinct, Coach's Eau de Parfum/Eau de Toilette, Davidoff's Cool Water Wave Men, Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue Eau Intense and Light Blue Pour Homme Eau Intense, Narciso Rodriguez's Fleur Musc For Her, Salvatore Ferragamo's UOMO Casual Life, and The Body Shop's White Musk L'Eau.
Some lucky local bloggers were invited to attend the showcase and they were handed fragranced blotters at the same time as the models showcasing the new fragrances on stage.
The event was also complemented by a Facebook contest campaign on Suria Sabah's Facebook page where grand prize winner Alicia Koh received a 20" travel luggage worth RM499 with The Body Shop products and fragrance miniature, followed by five consolation prize winners - Darren Wong, Honeyumi Hayati, Michelle Ng, Michelle Tan and Stella Matilda.
