One Direction reunion ‘has to happen’, reckons Liam Payne

-

LOS ANGELES: One Direction fans have been given more hope of the band getting back together, making new music and touring again, by none other than Liam Payne.

He made the comments in an interview with Buzzfeed, saying reuniting with his former bandmates is a matter of when, not if.

“Yes, I think we will reunite at some point in the future,” reckoned Payne.

“We have to. I mean, we’ve got an album we haven’t even toured yet, and I want to write some more songs as well with the boys.”

When asked if there was just one other One Direction member he could collaborate with again, Payne chose the one who quit the group first.

“I think I would collaborate best with Zayn (Malik) because we do really similar types of music.”

Like the rest of the One Direction boys, Louis Tomlinson is not ruling out a reunion.

Tomlinson, who recently stopped by an FM station, weighed in on the possibility of a reunion, and his answer is bound to make fans of the group happy.

“Honestly, the bottom line is it’s just too impossible to predict when, but it’s a no brainer. We all feel the same,” said Tomlinson. “At some point, we’re getting back together, (but) we’ve got to have our own time at the moment.”

Tomlinson isn’t exaggerating when he says the rest of the One Direction members feel the same.

In fact, his buddy Niall Horan said something similar in an interview on Lorraine back in June.

“It’s a no-brainer really. Also, it’s only been a year and a half. A year and a half in a life span is not that long,” said Horan.
