Yeo’s Natural Beauty Contest returns Aug 16-Sept 15

KUCHING: The Yeo’s Natural Beauty Contest returns from today (Aug 16) until Sept 15 with even more attractive prizes aims to promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Yeo Hiap Seng (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd corporate communicat­ion senior manager Joe Wong said in a statement that the campaign also provides a recognised platform for East Malaysian women to showcase their beauty in a natural way – in line with Yeo’s philosophy of always offering a ‘Natural Choice’.

“This is the third time this contest is being organised with the collaborat­ion of local newspapers namely The Borneo Post, See Hua Daily News and Utusan Borneo,” he said.

Wong said through the contest, Yeo’s hopes an active and healthy lifestyle can be a culture among East Malaysians.

“This is because beauty starts from daily lifestyle. And through this contest, participan­ts can showcase their natural beauty, even without any make-up,” he added.

There will be daily prizes of RM100 and Yeo’s products for 30 winners each and RM100 for each photograph­er throughout the contest period.

The top three winners will receive cash prizes totalling RM6,000 – first prize of RM3,000, second prize of RM2,000, and third prize of RM1,000.

Participan­ts can also upload their photos to the See Hua Daily News, Borneo Post Online, and Utusan Borneo Online Facebook pages.

The photos of 30 daily winners will also be uploaded to the Facebook pages of See Hua Daily News, Borneo Post Online and Utusan Borneo Online.

The most-shared photo on the respective Facebook pages will have the chance to win RM500.

The names of daily winners will be announced from Sept 18 to Oct 17.

Participan­ts must observe all rules, terms and conditions.

The contest is open to all Sarawakian and Sabahan photograph­ers and models, both amateur and profession­al, as long as Yeo’s Green Tea is clearly shown in the photograph.

Participan­ts can send in as many photograph­s as they wish before the closing date.

They are only allowed to use light make-up and must include a caption of 20 words or less on the benefits of Yeo’s Green Tea.

All photograph­s, either taken with a smartphone or camera, and not exceeding 2MB in size must be in their original form with no retouching using computer software.
