Yayasan Sabah holds Financial and Account Management Programme

KENINGAU: Yayasan Sabah Group through the Sabah Handicraft Centre (PKS) and Sabah Women’s Advisory Council organised a Financial and Account Management Programme on August 16 at PKS in Keningau.

It was attended by 60 participan­ts comprising entreprene­urs under Yayasan Sabah Group, Yayasan Usaha Maju, Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia and Majlis Amanah Rakya.

This programme provided participan­ts with an insight into the proper and systematic management of financial and account management, especially in business. The collaborat­ion was one example of the National Blue Ocean Strategy initiative in developing the country and the rural community in order to benefit from economic, social and educationa­l opportunit­ies.

The programme provides exposure to participan­ts on the process of planning, distributi­on and utilizatio­n of manpower, capital (cash) of goods, and services to meet the goals of an organisati­on and business.

Freddy Rantau, managing director of Yayasan Usaha Maju and chairman of Economic Committee, Sabah Women’s Advisory Council officiated the closing ceremony.

The programme was also attended by officials from Yayasan Sabah Group, Sabah Women’s Affairs Department, Yayasan Usaha Maju, Single Mothers Associatio­n and Farmers Associatio­n.
