Man Utd fan clubs to hold Family Day September 2

KOTA KINABALU: The Manchester United Supporters Club (Malaysia) and the Sabah Red Devils (SRD), will be organising their Family Day on the September 2 this year.

The event will take place at the Tanjung Aru first beach from 10am to 6pm. It will be a gathering of MUSC (M)-SRD members, aimed at strengthen­ing bonds and promote teamwork between themselves and their family.

A number of activities have been lined up and among them are the ‘Human Trolley’, ‘Preggy Run’ for adults and ‘Run, Waiter/ Waitress, Run!’, Hit & Run’ for the children, along with a bouncing castle for kids.

A RM10 fee will be applicable for adults while children below the age of 14 will get free entrance.

Fans and members are urged not to miss out on this opportunit­y to spend a leisurely and fun day with other members.

Organising chairperso­n Anita Dingkawan also reminded members that at the recent annual dinner, it had been announced that another member would be chosen to fulfil his or her dream to go to Old Trafford, Manchester along with nine others already assured of going.

“Take this opportunit­y to join in the fun and who knows, maybe the lucky 10th person may be chosen on that day,” she added.
