Myolie Wu still busy with work despite being in final trimester
HONG KONG: Despite being in the final trimester of her pregnancy, Myolie Wu has continued to be busy with work projects.
She has just completed a travelogue in Australia with buddies Nancy Wu and Selena Li.
She is now busy in Guangzhou with the promotions for her new drama Nothing Gold Can Stay.
The filming of Nothing Gold Can Stay has taken six months, while she has also been juggling between projects in Hong Kong and mainland China.
Despite the challenges, Myolie has enjoyed the experience of working with a talented cast and crew.
Said Myolie, “I personally really admire Sun Li. Working with her made me realise how professional she is. She has many large roles and she usually does 10 to 20 scenes a day. But she’s very professional – there are no outtakes and she’s always ready and prepared. I’m very happy to have been able to work with such a great actress.”
In the series, Myolie portayrs Hu Yong Mei, the elegant and kind-hearted daughter of a wealthy businessman who falls in love with her childhood friend, Wu Ping (Peter Ho). Unfortunately, with the appearance of Sun Li’s character, their relationship worsens.
On working with Peter, Myolie said, “Hu Yong Mei and Peter’s character, have been friends since they were young. He’s her knight in shining armour. Peter is definitely suited to play this character – he’s very cool!”
