PENAMPANG: Rightpower Corporation Sdn Bhd will celebrate the introduction of Hyundai Tucson 2.0 Diesel variant in Sabah with its Tucson Double Weekend Promotion, here.

Its district manager Victor W T Fong said customers are invited to take advantage of the deals and test drive all its Tucson variants at Rightpower Hyundai Building at WK Commercial Centre in Bundusan today and tomorrow as well as the Malaysia Day weekend, September 16 and 17, from 9.30am to 5pm.

“For the Tucson 1.6 Turbo and 2.0 Elegance, there will be a free upgrade of five years or 100,000 km free service for each purchase. This totally free service includes parts and labour,” revealed Fong here yesterday.

“Customers can also choose the second option of free body kit and three years or 50,000 km free service for the two variants,” he said, adding the body kit is worth around RM2,000 for each set.

“For the Tucson 2.0 Diesel variant, RM500 worth of Parkson shopping vouchers will be given out to purchasers during the Double Weekend Promotion,” he elaborated.

Fong said at a total of RM158,000 on-the-road price without insurance, the new-to-Sabah Tucson Diesel variant is powered by a 2.0 litre CRDi mill that offers 178 PS at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm from 1,750 to 2,750 rpm.

The unit is paired with a sixspeed automatic transmission that delivers better acceleration, fuel efficiency and less CO2 emission, and equipped with the Drive Mode Control System, which is the Normal, Sports and Eco driving modes that can be controlled by a single button on the centre console.

Among the Tucson 2.0 Diesel’s various features is the Front and Rear Parking Assist System (PAS) with front and rear view cameras as well as bumper sensors to help drivers park safely.

The six-airbag system is located at the driver and passenger seats, two-side airbags and two curtain airbags to protect passengers in the event of a collision.

Meanwhile, the Audio Visual Navigation (AVN) is powered with an Android operating system that allows live updates on social networking based navigational systems to help drivers avoid traffic.

According to Fong, all Hyundai cars come with five years or 300,000 km (whichever comes first) warranty.

He said, in addition, Hyundai owners are provided with free Safe Drive 24/7 Roadside Assist that includes services such as on-site repair or towing service nationwide.
