Five hurt in carlorry collision
PAPAR: Five people were hurt when a Perodua Alza car collided with a six-ton lorry near Kampung Pengalat Besar at the Papar-Kota Kinabalu Road here yesterday.
Papar Fire and Rescue station chief Janil Jaya said two women travelling in the Perodua Alza car and three others on the lorry sustained varying degree of injuries and were taken to the district hospital for out-patient treatment.
Janil said a team of Fire and Rescue personnel went to the scene after receiving a distress call at 12.56 pm to assist the accident victims.
