Hap Seng’s Putatan Condo way ahead of schedule

KOTA KINABALU: Purchasers of the Kingfisher Putatan Condominium can expect to move into their homes much earlier than scheduled.

Hap Seng Properties Development Sabah sales and marketing deputy general manager Caroline Yong Yah Fui said the developer is expecting to complete the project 27 months ahead of the 42-month long scheduled completion period.

“In November, we expect to obtain our OC for Kingfisher Putatan,” said Yong at a press conference held here yesterday.

“Again, this is a testimony of our completion when it comes to both condos and landed property.

“We can safely say our commitment in actually delivering on completed products way ahead of schedule. At this time right now, this is always our strength,” she stressed.

Yong said all the Kingfisher Putatan phase one units have been sold out and Hap Seng is working on the next 408 units of the condominium's phase two project.

“We are going to kickstart on (Kingfisher) Putatan phase two as well. So likely, we are going to launch that in November,” she revealed, adding that the developer is aiming to obtain the project’s OC in two year’s time.

The phase two project involves the construction of an additional three earthquake resistance designed blocks, one 15 storeys and two 18 storeys, which will also have eight sea view facing units.

“It is not just about the product that we have, which we know that we are second to none. We always believe that our product is a total package. It’s not just about price, it is also about finishing, it is also about the location with all the amenities that are already set in place,” said Yong.

“I reckon when it comes to completion, especially when it comes to condos, there are so many completed condominiums that are already done but not all have a very good resale value once it is completed.

“But for this one, we believe that it would be a finished product that would be one of the finest. We take in all kinds of elements from workmanship, finishing and the state of delivery when it comes to the facade and the design,” she emphasized.
