Inti Deras Motors launching Honda’s new Rebel 500
KOTA KINABALU: Honda has released its new middleweight cruiser and a new rider-friendly bike. Powered by a 471cc displacement, parallel-twin engine, with an eight-valve engine that puts 45 hp at 8500 rpm, it is a perfect ride for those wanting a mid-displacement machine for everyday riding duties.
Designed to be easy to ride and accessible to all riders regardless of experience, the 2017 Rebek is also meant for the owner to stamp his or her own personality on the bike. Bringing in a fresh style in the cruiser class, and a dose of performance making this bike with its own authentic looks.
The all-new Honda Rebel 500 also comes with a great deal of variety which includes:
1. The engine drives a sixspeed gearbox, and the entire package is carried in a tubular steel frame.
2. Front suspension is with OEM-brand 41 mm forks, while the rear is sprung with a Showa Pro-Link absorber.
3. Fuel is carried in an 11.2-litre tank, and this middleweight cruiser weighs in at 190 kg.
4. The Rebel 500 comes with a low seat heights, that provides comfort and relaxed riding position while on a ride, and makes it easier to flat-foot it at stoplights or in parking area.
The new model is suitable for all types of riders, with its new irresistible blacked out style, that says a lot about the bikes and their riders. Understated, Authentic, Confident, No drama. Two colors are available for the marketplace, which are grey and slick black.
The all-new Honda Rebel 500 is set to hit the roads and will be made available at all branches of Inti Deras Motors by October.
