KTM launches Duke 390 2017

KOTA KINABALU: Inti Deras Motors Sdn Bhd is launching KTM new naked bike, The Duke 390 2017.

The 2017 Duke comes with an all new facelift in its design and more aggressive styling along with a host of new features and upgrades.

Powered by a 373.2 cc single cylinder engine serves here with 44 hp at 9,000 rpm, it’s a combinatio­n of maximum pleasure and an ideal user value as it was light, nimble, however powerful in its own league, the Duke 390 are designed to be suitably ridden on any terrain.

Both bikes retain the trellis frame from before, while perhaps the most apparent change from the 2016 model is the exhaust - the previously under slung unit is now higher mounted, with a right-hand-side mounted muffler.

The all-new Duke 390 also comes with a great deal of variety which includes:

1. The 2017 Duke 390 comes with a new ergonomics design, the new model are looking more muscular with more angular design and sharper edges. Giving this bike a slightly more ag- gressive and rugged features.

2. The Duke 390 chassis includes an 830 mm seat height (30 mm taller than before), 1,357mm wheelbase (10mm shorter than before), while weight has increased by 10kg to 149kg. Fuel capacity is now 13.4 litres, an increase of 2.4 litres over the previous model.

3. The Duke 390’s two-channel ABS comes with three modes - Normal, Off, and Supermoto, which disables ABS for the rear brake only.

4. Additional updates to the Duke 390 include a more padded seat, CANBUS system, Metzeler M5 Interact tyres, broader rearview mirrors, Euro 4 emissions rating and a ride-by-wire throttle.

5. The Duke 390 also gets a multi-function TFT LCD screen with automatic brightness control, and further data can be observed on mobile devices via the KTM My Ride app.

The Duke 390 are powerful and packed with state-of-theart technology, it guarantees a thrilling ride, whether you’re in the urban jungle or a forest of bends.The model are available in orange-black color with a hint of white colour of the rear trellis.

The all-new KTM Duke 390 is set to hit the roads and will be made available at all branches of Inti Deras Motors by November.
