Kim wins Chuan Ann Realty golf tourney
TAWAU: One-hundred and sixty-two golfers participated in the Third Chuan Ann Realty Sdn Bhd Annual Challenge Golf Tournament 2017 at the Tawau Hotspring Golf Course here on Sunday.
The Men’s Gross category was won by Roslan Adam with 75 gross score, followed by Brandon Lai, Yoshar Abd Wahab, Raymond Yee, Welden Marzuki and Mazlan Abdul Majid.
Kim Joo Kyoung with 69 nett (93 Gross) score was the winner in the Men’s Nett followed by George Mok, Julaydi Mattuju, Tai Soo Sem, Azlan Asakil, Eddie Soon Vui Onn, Makmur Arsad, Wong Ka Lim, Abdul Rashid and Maurice Pang.
The Ladies Nett winners were Doris Heong, Lydia Liew and Chong Sui Khun while the Senior category title went to Chin Loi Man, followed by Fong Mui Soon, Hj Bahar Lausin, Chia Soo Khung and Akkas Lappo.
For the Invitees section, Edward Tong was the winner followed by ASP Jafri Abdul Hamid (second), Chin Nyuk Kheong (third), Robert Chin (fourth) and Captain Romli in fifth place.
The tournament was officiated by Chuan Ann Realty Sdn Bhd managing director, Tuan Haji Anwar Yeo, who was also the main sponsor for the event.
Also present were Anwar’s wife Norhazana Abdul Razak and Tawau Golf Club president Chin Nyuk Kheong.
Chin said participants were lucky to complete the golf tournament despite the drizzle and he was pleased everyone had fun including enjoying dinner.
Anwar hoped the nonwinners in the tournament will try again in the next tournament.
