The event took place at the Sandakan Sports complex field and the 19-year-old Keningau lass shone after scoring 300 points, edging team-mate Clementina Banadus (290 points) and Emily Lo Ching Yee from Kota Kinabalu (270 points) into second and third place, respectively.

“I’m happy to win the first gold medal for my team (Keningau) and I’m even happier that it is also the first gold of SAGA.

“This is the first gold medal in the sport, and I believe it will make the competition more intense after this. Congratulations to Noryfasikin,” said Masiung.

Gold and silver medals from Noryfasikin and Clementina put Keningau at the top of the medal tally.
