Popular book fair offers exclusive deals

KOTA KINABALU: The Popular Mega Book Fair returns from now until January 1, 2018 at the 1Borneo Exhibition Hall with exclusive deals on over 30,000 titles and other items.

To continue with its mission of cultivatin­g the reading habit among Malaysians, the book fair boasts a wide selection of English, Malay and Chinese books across various genres, along with stationery, CDs, DVDs and other multimedia items, all tagged with attractive prices.

The public are encouraged to visit the fair as it offers better deals than in store, with rebates of up to 25 per cent on books and 50 per cent on selected multimedia items.

Additional offers are available with Daily Specials, featuring an assortment of products throughout the book fair period.

Daily Specials include more than 120 products with deals as low as RM5, comprising books, stationery and multimedia, music and gift items.

Those who spend a minimum of RM80 in a single receipt on the same day are entitled to free vouchers worth a total of RM20, consisting of two RM5 vouchers redeemable at any Kota Kinabalu Popular outlet and a RM10 Bonus Treats voucher to be redeemed on the date of issuance only.

Customers who spend more than RM150 are also entitled to two fancy notebooks of their choice, while stocks last.

Meanwhile, Popular members stand to enjoy special deals including a Popular-exclusive multipurpo­se bag with every applicatio­n or renewal of a three-year member card, and a multifunct­ional stylus pen for applicatio­n or renewal of one year.

Other activities will also be held during the book fair, including cooking demos and a colouring contest, calligraph­y competitio­n and recycling campaign for children.

Readers of The Borneo Post, Utusan Borneo and See Hua newspapers also stand a chance to bring home a Top detergent sample pack on each day of the book fair.

Look out for the ‘Exlusive deals’ cutout coupon in the local papers daily and bring it along to the book fair to redeem the sample pack, limited to 200 per day.
