RM33,000 donations for seven associatio­ns

KOTA KINABALU: QSR Stores Sdn Bhd presented another RM33,000 in donations to seven more of Sabah and Labuan’s organizati­ons in conjunctio­n with Christmas here yesterday.

The donation is part of a total of RM121,000 received from the public in 2017 through the Tabung Add Hope donation boxes, placed at KFC outlets throughout Sabah.

QSR Stores previously distribute­d the donations to other organizati­ons during the Chinese New Year, Harvest Festival and Hari Raya Aidilfitri festivitie­s earlier this year.

Bringing the total of nongovernm­ental organizati­ons and homes benefiting from the program to 26 in 2017.

Yesterday, QSR Stores presented the cheques to Chairman Karen Koh, PDK chairman Abdullah Ahmad Nawawi, Philimon Chin, Sister Alice, President Francis Yong, President Datuk Rosalind Chew, and President Patrick Chin.

They received the cheques on behalf of Kota Kinabalu Lions Ambulance Service Society, Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti Kota Belud, Persatuan bagi Orang Orang Istimewa Labuan, St Theresa and De La Salle Hostel, Kota Marudu, Sabah Society for the Deaf, Sabah Society for the Blind and Persatuan Kesihatan Jiwa Sabah.

QSR Stores were represente­d by its senior general manager Y F Lo, regional coach Godfrey Binting, finance deputy general manager T J Teh, marketing and catering manager Anna Au, human resource and admin manager Annie Lee, and quality assurance manager Lim Kok Fung.
