Too many opposition manifestos – PBS

-

KOTA KINABALU: Pakatan Harapan Sabah information chief Adrian Lasimbang has been asked to consider the fact that there may be something lacking in the opposition coalition's manifesto.

Otherwise why would there be so many manifestos offered to the rakyat, opined Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) secretary general Datuk Johnny Mosituin.

Mositun in reply to Adrian's recent statement claiming that PBS was afraid of its own shadow pointed out that in the previous election, Pakatan Harapan seemed to be confused as to what it wanted to do for the rakyat, hence the many manifestos.

“I would like to remind Adrian to stop talking nonsense. PBS has and will continue to champion the rights of Sabahans. We are staying true to our manifesto and we will not stray from it.

“Adrian should face reality and not live in a world of his imagination where the rakyat are accepting multi version manifestos. Does he think that the people are so easily taken in?” Mositun asked.

According to him Sabahans still remember the ‘Buku Jingga' launched by Pakatan Rakyat during the 13th general election.

“But what happened to the ‘Buku Jingga'? It was not mentioned when Pakatan Harapan launched its manifesto. In fact today, Pakatan Rakyat no longer exists,” he said.

Adrian, Mositun said, should not try to divert the attention of Sabahans from Pakatan Harapan's weaknesses by accusing PBS of having failed in its duties and responsibilities to the people in the state.

“Pakatan Harapan's promises in the manifesto are recycled from what PBS and Barisan Nasional (BN) have done for the people. They know we have been doing a good job but they do not want to admit it.

“There is no need for so many manifestos as what is important is what can be done for the people,” Mositun said.
