Tzu Chi’s annual Year-End Blessing Ceremony

KOTA KINABALU: The Tzu Chi’s annual Year-End Blessing Ceremony will be held on January 14 at Auditorium Tun Raffae, Yayasan Sabah.

This annual blessing ceremony is the time for Master Cheng Yen and volunteers of the Taiwan Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation to spread their love, support and gratitude to the public, whilst praying for world peace.

The 2017 Year-End Blessing Ceremony is themed, “Unite in great love towards a world of kindness. Pave a path at each step to protect the earth.”

The Taiwan Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation Malaysia (Kota Kinabalu) will hold the “Global Warming & Environmen­tal Protection Exhibition & 2017 Year-End Blessing Ceremony” on January 14, starting from 10am.

For those who cannot make it in the morning, there will also be an afternoon ceremony commencing at 2pm at Auditorium Tun Raffae, Yayasan Sabah.

Through education, Tzu Chi hopes to change people’s spending habits by encouragin­g them to reduce their carbon footprint, the amount of garbage they generate, and to show their love for our planet through practical actions.

In this exhibition, Tzu Chi will showcase products made from recycled resources. By sharing their philosophy on recycling, Tzu Chi hopes to attract more people to join them in their recycling efforts.

Tzu Chi has also arranged shuttle service for the public in their effort to save resources.
