KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) Youth and Puteri Umno Sabah will be organising the Youth Manifesto colloquium on Jan 17 at the Tabung Haji Hotel near here.

The objective of the colloquium was to gather youth leaders in Sabah BN to discuss and come up with proposals which will be brought for consideration by the party leader and by the government.

Speaking to press members yesterday, BN Papar Youth chief Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali said the findings from the colloquium should be considered in the amendment to the BN Manifesto for the 14th General Election.

He said this would touch on issues and matters that involved policies and government programmes at both state and federal levels.

Armizan explained that the colloquium was part of the series of interactions between all Sabah BN Youth components and Puteri Umno Sabah and youths at various levels.

He said the aspirations would be brought to the attention of the party leaders and the government.

He also said the colloquium was a continuation of the National Tranformation 2050 dialogue or TN50 in Sabah which was carried out by Sabah BN Youth chairman, Yamani Hafez Musa.

The one-day colloquium will be attended by 50 people comprising young leaders from all BN Sabah component parties.

He also said that youths wanting to share their proposals can also do so via the PPUN Sabah Facebook page or Hafez Musa.
