Developer of Maya@ Likas targets record time completion

-

KOTA KINABALU: Tower Paradise Sdn Bhd hopes to gift the Maya@Likas condominium keys to homebuyers before Christmas 2018, way ahead of its contracted 42-month long completion schedule.

Person in-charge of the project, Ben Kong, said the developer is looking to break its record by completing the development in 36 months.

“You hear a lot of developer delays and things like that so we are trying to prove to people it can be done ahead of schedule, and not only behind schedule,” said Ben.

“We are targeting to complete this building before Christmas this year. If we can hand over the key before Christmas that would be our dream come true.

“That would also be a dream come true for all our buyers because they would officially be getting their keys half a year earlier,” he added.

Tower Paradise financial director Datuk Victor Wong Chet Sing revealed that more than 70% of the 483 units have been sold since 2016.

The remainder are majorly lots that are reserved for Bumiputeras.

Maya, which consists three blocks of 26, 21 and 16-storey high buildings, is at 70% completion.

“Structure-wise, we are reaching the top of the block C roof floor and the Block A, which is the tallest at 26 floors, is reaching the 24th floor already,” said Wong.

“Basically, by April we will finish all our structure work,” said Ben.

Backed by its reputable business leaders, chairman Ng Chin Heng, director Datuk Kong Kwok Wah, director Chin Ah Kow, and Wong, the developer have promised facilities and finishes that are inferior to none of other five-star condominiums in Kota Kinabalu.

Tower Paradise had also engaged one of the world’s most reputable contractor, China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd, that has a proven track record and speed to ensure the fast delivery of the luxury condominium to its buyers.

“We want to show by working together with them, we get the quality that I think the homebuyers deserve,” said Ben at the Maya Homebuyer Appreciation Luncheon at the premier building’s site here yesterday.

“I think it is unprecedented because developers don’t normally hold a function during the midst of construction. But we are so confident with our site, so confident with what we have done, we decided to open it up for our buyers to actually see what they are going to get in the near future.

“After the visit today, we are almost 100% confident that they would be surprised with all the things they are getting for their houses,” he added.

Kong said buyers at the luncheon enjoyed a “what-yousee-is-what-you-get” experience at the mock-up home, viewing for the first time the top of the line finishes and products that come with their Maya units during the luncheon.

“Seeing is believing. They will be able to see that this is definitely a good buy. We give top quality products but at a very reasonable and affordable price,” said Kong.

“That is our emphasis, even before completion, you can see for yourself the quality. After completion, it will be much better than what you have seen today,” he added.

Maya will be the first residential building to have an innovativelydesigned two-storey lounge, the lighthouse, a community and recreational space adjoining Towers B and C via level 15.

The facility is complete with lounge furnishings and features a view of the pool beyond its glass panel.

Situated at one of the remaining prime locations left around Kota Kinabalu, Maya is built on a 4.3-acre land at Jalan Tuaran, opposite Wisma Wanita and approximately 3km from the heart of the city here.
