Skincare company to open eight more outlets

KOTA KINABALU: V Magic skincare brand plans to open eight more outlets in Malaysia this year.

V Magic Beaute Malaysia Sdn Bhd managing director Deledda Tan said the brand currently had four outlets in Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Bintulu and Sibu.

“This year, we will be opening outlets in Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Malacca in West Malaysia; Miri and Kapit in Sarawak; Sandakan, Tawau and Lahad Datu in Sabah,” she said in a press conference at V Magic outlet at Luyang Plaza here Saturday.

Tan said renovation­s had commenced for the outlets in Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Miri and Tawau.

V Magic, founded by Michael Wang, former chief editor of a Taiwanese beauty magazine, has 33 skincare products priced from RM80 onwards.

Meanwhile, Wang said V Magic had introduced a new product, Power C Booster, this year.

He said the product could slow the ageing process and inhibit the formation of melanin, which in turn produce whitening and reduce blemishes.

Wang said five V Magic products, namely V Magic Gel, Nuit Hydrating Pre-serum (H Serum), Magic White Serum, Duol Refine Buffer and Aqua Makeup Remover had been nominated for the third Beauty Awards. Results of the award will be announced in April this year, he said.

On the other hand, V Magic launched its own Chinese New Year music video yesterday, featuring the group ‘4GB’, comprising Megan Hen, Shirly Lee, Jack Yee and Michael Cheong. More than 40 individual­s participat­ed in the filming of the music video, including Wang and Tan. The music video is available on V Magic Skin Care Sabah Facebook page or YouTube.

Meanwhile, stand a chance to win attractive prizes by uploading pictures taken at the outlet to Facebook or Instagram and tag V Magic.

In addition, V Magic Malaysia is giving away RM20 cash vouchers to customers who have spent RM388 in a single receipt, and RM50 cash voucher for RM688 in a single receipt.

Customers who spent RM1,200 in a single receipt will receive a bottle of French red wine and Riedel crystal glass from Germany.
