In a press statement, MDEC’s chief executive officer Datuk Yasmin Mahmood said: “The #YOUCANDUIT campaign has been held throughout the country and we are proud that it has received good response in every state that we’ve been to.

“To continue the momentum of developing the nation’s digital economy this year, we will continue to hold the #YOUCANDUIT campaign and we hope to reach out to rural areas to teach lowincome households on the usage of technology so they can grab the opportunity to improve their livelihood through the digital world.”

#YOUCANDUIT campaign is an initiative launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as a way to enhance the digital economy in Malaysia. Since its launch in 2016, #YOUCANDUIT has trained over 300,000 Malaysians throughout the nation, with more than RM300 million side income generated through the training.
