First HotPot outlet in country at Suria Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Seoul Garden Group opened its first standalone HotPot outlet in the country at the new Suria Sabah Shopping Mall food court.

Located on the first floor, Seoul Garden HotPot serves as a trendsetter for its other HotPot outlets nationwide with a modern ambiance, powered with an eMenu system to enhance customers’ total dining experience.

Seoul Garden Group chief executive officer Andrew Lee said the HotPot concept was introduced following customer feedback and the need for something new.

“With Korean movies and dramas that started coming into the Malaysian market, we noticed this concept gaining popularity, hence its introduction.

“We had been looking for transformation and we decided we should also make Korean food more accessible,” he said at the grand opening of Seoul Garden HotPot, yesterday.

Andrew further said the re-model concept would be replicated to the rest of the 13 outlets in Malaysia as part of its transformation plan over time.

“The re-engineered, new halal menu has proven to give more accessibility to all households to experience delicious Korean hot comfort food, every day.

“The transformation journey is because of the guest feedback system that we have put in place.

“Guests tell us about their love for the dining experience, and that they will come back more often or recommend more friends, if we do a few things; to make the price more affordable and add more choices so that they can experience us anytime throughout the day, among others.

“We have added many mouthwatering small bites and desserts that can be added to the main course, or be eaten on its own in between main meals.

“They also wanted us to be more modern in our ambience. We are doing all this now, and will work harder through this journey to continue improving in this direction.

“We have also added eMenu ordering to the new dining experience. The positively engaging and upsell abilities in eMenu system help customers try new promotions and beverages that will complement their dishes. The system has helps in reducing human error and food waste,” he said.

Andrew added that the Group is excited about the start of this transformation and implementation, and will embark on an aggressive plan to make it available in Malaysia, Singapore and in Asia as its first priority.

To ensure pocket-friendly lunch meals for senior citizens and students, Seoul Garden HotPot also features a special lunch menu on weekdays exclusively to welcome them.
