A Perfect Match Between redONE and The Red Giants
PUCHONG: XredONE Network Sdn Bhd (redONE) recently signed a partnership agreement with the Football Association of Selangor (FAS) or better known as the Red Giants, as one of the clubs main sponsors for the 2018 season. This sponsorship will see redONEs branding being carried at the front of the Red Giants Home and Away jerseys. The Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) company values sports partnerships as one of its communication pillars and decided to sponsor FAS due to the clubs vision of nurturing young footballing talents.
Viewing sports as a bridge to connect people from all walks of life, redONE regards the opportunity to sponsor local sports as a means of contributing to society. redONEs Director and Co-founder Mr Ben Teh in his statement said that, Malaysians love watching and playing all kinds of sports, especially football. Sports has that ability to break down barriers and bring people together in support of one team. Be it international matches or domestic competitions, we stand firmly behind our favourite team. That spirit is something that we all have in common, despite coming from different backgrounds.
We believe in FAS incredible track record in nurturing talent, especially the Under-21 and Under-19 youth players who met with great success last year. redONE is always supportive of new and upcoming talents who have yet to reach their full potential. Under FAS professional management and with financial assistance from redONE, there is nothing stopping them from attaining more than what they have achieved so far, he continued.
This year begins with new arrangements for the football teams under FAS. To start with, it has reassembled its First Team by bringing in three new foreign talents from Brazil and Indonesia. They also promoted six players from the Under-21 team that won the Presidents Cup last season to join the lead team. This reformation will strengthen the lead team with a mix of seasoned and young players to play in the Super League, FA Cup and Malaysia Cup.
