Choose govt with excellent track record, says Hamisa

-

TAWAU: The people are reminded to choose a government that has an excellent track record and not a ‘government with empty promises’ as it can affect future generations.

Assistant Resources Development and Information Technology Development Minister Datuk Hamisa Samat said the people should make wise choices instead of selecting inconsistent parties.

She said it was proven that Barisan Nasional (BN) had a record of outstanding performance, especially in helping the people and bringing progress and rapid development to the country.

Hence, the people must trust the BN government to spearhead, lead and maintain peace for the people of Sabah, especially in Tawau, she said during a dialogue with the residents of Kampung Tanjung Batu Laut, on Monday.

She said the people should use wisdom to choose the future government because they know who was really fighting for their interests.

Hamisa, who is also the Tanjong Batu assemblywoman, said the BN government believed the people would be able to see clearly the false promises that were being sown by certain parties.

She said the people should not use hatred as an excuse to make changes.

Hamisa expressed hope that the people in Tanjong Batu would not be affected by those who incite the people and make uncertain promises.
