HONG KONG: TVB actor Kenneth Ma and Jacqueline Wong have both denied going on a spending binge while vacationing together in Holland and Belgium.

Clarified an amused Jacqueline: “We didn’t spend much. We redeemed my points for the tickets. I seldom use air miles and feel elated to have been able to use them this time. Honestly, we did not buy much and used very little money this time.”

She added that they are financially independent.

Said Jacqueline: “I will not use his money and we take turns to give each other treats.”

She added that she gets along well with Kenneth, and has been interacting very well with his parents.

On reports that she has been promoted to first female lead for the new series The Maid Alliance, Jacqueline shrugged sand said: “We receive notifications for the filming and my role has always been like this. Perhaps the company has changed it and I assumed I will have a long leave after filming Kennedy Loves Kennedy. But at the last minute, I was told to try out for The Maid Alliance series.”

In the new series, she and Tony Hung are an on-screen couple.

Disclosed Jacqueline: “His role character is very serious and we are a bickering couple.”

In a recent amusing incident, Jacqueline received a ring and a bouquet of flowers from an unusual fan.

Referring to this, she said: “I was shocked. Flowers and a ring are serious gifts and please think twice before giving it.”
