SESB making it convenient for customers to pay bills

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Electricit­y Sdn Bhd (SESB) has always provided and increased the convenienc­e of electricit­y bill payment channels to its customers throughout Sabah and Labuan.

SESB Corporate Communicat­ions General Manager Chendramat­a Hj Sinteh said yesterday the utility company wants its payment channels more accessible so electricit­y bills can be made anytime and anywhere.

SESB currently has a payment counter at its regional offices across the State and in Labuan, and at the Urban Transforma­tion Centre here as well as other payment agents.

“SESB has also installed a payment machine at the Wisma SESB headquarte­rs here which operates round-the-clock, while in Sandakan, Tawau and Labuan, the machine operates daily from 8am to 9pm. Besides, more payment machines will be installed to address the needs of growing number of customers,” Chendramat­a said in a media statement.

The Drive Thru payment facilities are also available at SESB headquarte­rs here and in Labuan, operating daily from 8am-5pm.

In addition, over the counter payments can also be made at Pos Malaysia's offices, TM, local authoritie­s registered with SESB, Alliance Bank, BSN, Maybank2u and Public Bank.

Customers can also pay their bills through cash deposit vending machines at the Maybank, HSBC, CIMB, Public Bank, Ambank, Alliance Bank, Bank Kerjasama Rakyat, Kuwait Finance House, Agro Bank and Bank Simpanan Nasional.

Informatio­n about electricit­y bills is generally available through the SESB website www. sesb.com.my.

Customers and the public can file a complaint and informaton about incidence of electrical supply interrupti­ons or inquiries through telephone line, 15454, 1-800-88-1135, Whatsapp short messaging system at 019-852 5427 and SESB website (Talk To Us).
