Southampton offers top scholarships for future engineers

TO help nurture the next generation of engineers, the University of Southampton Malaysia Campus is having its first Top Achiever Scholarship Exams.

This prestigious award offers opportunities for bright science stream students in Asia to pursue engineering undergraduate studies at the Malaysia Campus.

Students of the Malaysia Campus gain a unique ‘Southampton’ education with the first two years in Malaysia combined with the final two years at its world-class research centred university in the UK.

Currently, the University of Southampton is ranked 2nd in the UK for Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Top 10 in the UK for Mechanical Engineering and No. 5 for Aeronautics and Astronautics.

The Malaysia Campus offers these premier undergraduate Engineering courses.

One hundred per cent scholarships will be awarded to the most academically outstanding students in the exam.

To be eligible, candidates must possess strong leadership skills and demonstrate active participation in extracurricular, social and voluntary activities. Furthermore, they must have A*AA in their A levels or equivalent.

Candidates interested to take the Top Achiever Exams must complete an online registration form at bit. ly/TopAchieverScholarship. Deadline for online registration is June 15.

The scholarships exam will be held at the Malaysia Campus in Educity, Iskandar Puteri, Johor on July 1, 2018 from 10am to 2pm.

The scholarship does not include living expenses and is applicable for the first year of study only.
