Digi welcomes Hafizh Syahrin to Malaysia’s largest network

KUALA LUMPUR: Digi Telecommun­ications Sdn Bhd (Digi) recently welcomed Malaysia’s biggest star on the internatio­nal motorcycle racing circuit to the country’s largest network.

Hafizh Syahrin has consistent­ly impressed in the sport over the years and recently signed up with the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team to race for the outfit in this year’s MotoGP season that begins very soon.

“What Hafizh Syahrin has done over the past few years, including now signing on as Malaysia’s first MotoGP rider, is a huge accomplish­ment. He has broken into the premier class in internatio­nal motorcycle racing and he did it the hard way solely based on merit and ability,” Digi’s head of Marketing Services, Bernard Lee, said in a statement.

“Our tagline is ‘Let’s Inspire’, and you’d be hard pressed to find another Malaysian who inspires all of us like Hafizh does.”

Hafizh will be travelling the world a lot as part of the race season and Digi is happy to keep him connected to what matters most to him – his family, friends and fans back home – on his travels.

In celebratin­g Hafizh’s achievemen­t, Digi presented him a Digi Postpaid Plan with Borderless Roaming that lets him call home often. He also received a Digi Family Plan that offers better account management and flexible internet quota sharing.
