AmInvest bags ‘Malaysia’s ETF Manager of the Year’ Award

KUALA LUMPUR: AmInvest, the largest exchanged-traded fund (ETF) provider in the country, has been named “Malaysia’s ETF Manager of the Year” for the second consecutiv­e year.

Additional­ly, AmInvest’s Shariah-compliant business received top honours as “Malaysia’s Islamic Institutio­nal House of the Year” with both recognitio­n secured at the Asia Asset Management Best of the Best Awards 2018 in Hong Kong on March 23.

Acting chief executive officer, Goh Wee Peng said the company was honoured and delighted to be recognised again this year.

“The team has worked very hard for this track record and looking ahead, we remain focused on continuous­ly growing our investors’ investment­s by not only delivering a consistent investment performanc­e, but also providing investment solutions that can capitalise on opportunit­ies in a changing world,” he added.

The Best ETF Manager award recognised AmInvest’s key achievemen­ts over the last year under review, on among others, plans and efforts to promote the usage of ETFs.

Under the Islamic Institutio­nal House of the Year for Malaysia, AmInvest was evaluated and acknowledg­ed on several criteria such as assets under management, new Islamic products or funds launched and overall contributi­on to the growth of the industry.
