Changing the string of bubble game has increased demand

KUALA LUMPUR: The dissatisfaction of Nur Nashwa Nordin, 28, and her husband Farizudin Muhammad, 32, at the equipment used for the bubble game in the local market led the couple to come up with a better product.

The founder of Kiddos Bubble, which used a special nylon string imported from China to be fixed on the blowing pipe for the bubble, had produced more bubbles and now had difficulty to meet the increasing demand for the product.

“Our product can absorb more soap and produce bubbles compared to the pipe made of plastic which could be easily found in the market.

“In addition, the bubbles produced could be safely used and does not cause irritation to the skin as we use a special soap of which 98 percent of its content are water,”Nur Nashwa told Bernama.

She is among the participants of the two-day ‘Karnival Jom Niaga’, which was among the programs of the 2018 ‘Himpunan Usahawan Bumiputra’ (HUB) at the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil organised by the Domestic Trade and Industry Ministry through its agency, SME Corp Malaysia, which ended on Saturday.

The couple, who liked the bubble game, had produced the product after being disappointed on several occasions because the product that they bought did not fulfill their requirement.

Nur Nashwa said they did not expect that Kiddos Bubble which was launched in November last year had received encouraging response to the extent that they reaped a net profit of RM32,000 with sales of 3,500 bottles merely through online business for a period of three months.

They used the social website Facebook and Instagram to sell the product in four sizes of one litre to four litres at prices ranging from RM25 up to RM110 per bottle, and each bottle will be provided with a stick to produce the bubbles, she said. - Bernama
