Use ‘Onsoi’ in polls – Musa

-

KENINGAU: Sabah Umno and Barisan Nasional members were told to embrace the spirit of the “Onsoi” slogan to ensure victory in the 14th General Election which will be held on May 9.

Sabah BN chairman Tan Sri Musa Aman said the “Onsoi” slogan, which means all good in Murut, is a phrase that reflects the spirit of the people in the Interior and it should be used by BN members to win back the people’s mandate.

Musa said this in a meeting with the Umno Pensiangan Committee members led by Datuk Abdul Ghani Yassin.

Even Prime Minister Datuk Seri Tun Najib Razak now knows and understands the essence of the word “Onsoi” for the people of the interiors in Sabah and now it is getting more popular among the people in Peninsular Malaysia.

In the meeting he reminded BN members to cooperate with each other and set aside their differences. The coalition adheres to a policy where it does not condone to having enemies from within or thorn in the flesh.

All BN members are part of one big family that now has one target which is to win the election. Any form of action taken by members should be conducted while bearing in mind the spirit of unity to win the polls.

Musa also met with Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah president Tan Sri Joseph Kurup and Sook incumbent Datuk Ellron Alfred Angin, urging both to continue cooperate and go all out to defend their turf, Pensiangan and Sook.

Also present was PBRS information chief Datuk Johnson Tee.

In his visit, Musa also met with the Keningau Umno Division committee members in a meeting led by Liawan incumbent Datuk Sairin Karno.

Sairin said members and leaders of the division are all behind the Sabah BN chief in spearheading the state as the Chief Minister if the coalition wins back the people’s mandate.
