BN only party that walks the talk — Yusof

-

LAHAD DATU: The rakyat are urged to continue supporting the party that has been proven to take care of their well-being and develop the country.

Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Lahad Datu, Datuk Mohd Yusof Apdal said the ability to rule the country is not based on the promises made for the people but work and efforts that have been implemented for the people.

Yusof said making promises and talking without evidence are like lying to the people.

“BN is the only party that walks the talk. BN’s seriousness could be seen through various efforts that have been implemented for the people.

“BN understands the needs of the people and are always on the ground to listen to the people in ensuring the rakyat are not neglected,” he said when officiating the KEMAS Carnival at Darvel Bay Plaza yesterday.

According to the Silam Umno Division head, people should continue to choose the party that prioritizes the needs of the people.

Yusof said there is no point for people to choose a party that prioritizes and fights for their personal interest.

“What can the opposition do for the people? Instead of just making promises, they should prove their word.

“In contrast to the opposition, BN is always striving to fulfill promises and the efforts have been proven during the leadership of BN,” he said.

In his speech, Yusof said that the opposition promising to do better than BN actually showed that everything BN promised has been implemented.

Therefore, he said people should continue to support BN, which is the only party that could provide a better future for the people, including our future generation.

Continuous support from the people, he said could ensure the continuity of development for the country and the people.

Yusof also reminded the people not to support a party that could lead to disunity as unity is important to enable more development for the country.
