PAS says it has not lost in Batu Sapi

-

SANDAKAN: PAS Sabah deputy commissioner Sahar Abdul Majid does not consider that PAS had lost in Batu Sapi, rather that they had yet to win.

According to him, Islam will triumph in the future as promised by Allah SWT to His servants under Him.

Sahar said this during a thanksgiving gathering held for the PAS Batu Sapi election machinery workers recently.

Sahar stood as a candidate the Sekong state seat, while his party colleague, Norsah Bongsu, contested the Batu Sapi parliamentary seat and the Karamunting state seat.

PAS lost in all three seats to Parti Warisan Sabah and had garnered less than 1,000 votes for each seat.

Meanwhile, Sahar reckoned that the community will place more trust in PAS to become their representative in the future, after many representatives from different parties had joined other parties.

“Not only that, members of the community that I met after GE14 have also expressed the hope that PAS would contest in more state and parliamentary seats in future election,” he added.

Norsah, who is PAS Sabah Muslimat head, was also present and had called on those involved in the machinery to continue working hard to ensure victory for PAS in the coming election.

“Our work flow needs to be rearranged starting this Ramadan month so that the momentum created will not die down. Work hard to increase the number of PAS branches and meet as many people as you can until PAS can win in the next election,” she said.
