Sports Toto to bring Harvest cheer

-

KOTA KINABALU: Giving something back to society has always been a core value practiced by Sports Toto. As a socially responsible company, it believes that contributing to society is an integral part of an organization’s business and operations.

In conjunction with the Harvest and Gawai festival celebrations, Sports Toto is taking the opportunity to share festive cheer with some underprivileged children in East Malaysia.

A team of Sports Toto staff and agents will be visiting the Jireh Home here on May 22 to treat the 38 children at the centre to a sumptuous Kenny Rogers Roasters chicken meal. On top of that, Sports Toto would also be donating RM3,000 to the centre.

The Sports Toto team will also be spreading festive cheer to the beneficiaries at Sabah Society For the Deaf in Lahad Datu today (May 19), Sabah Society For The Deaf in Sandakan on May 24, Sarawak Society For The Salvation Army Children’s Home in Kuching on May 25, Methodist Children’s Home in Sibu on May 25 as well as the Bintulu Methodist Children’s Home in Miri on May 26.

Sports Toto will be donating a total of RM18,000 to the six aforementioned charitable organizations in East Malaysia.

All these years, Sports Toto has made it a point to bring cheer to the less fortunate during the festive occasions as the company believes that everyone regardless of social status or background, deserves a heartwarming moment during festivities.
