Packs of bubur lambuk were given away personally by Courts employees at 20 stores across the country in Penang, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan, Pahang, Perak, Johor, Sabah, Sarawak as well as within the Klang Valley.

The activity saw members of the public from all walks of life add to the festive atmosphere at the stores and enjoy the traditional delight loved by all Malaysians.

At Courts Setapak in Klang Valley, customers and members of the community were treated to bubur lambuk that was prepared by a team of volunteers at the store. Courts employees volunteered side by side with celebrities Nana Mahazan and Hunny Madu, as well as single mothers who were specially invited to join in the festivities, to cook and distribute hearty servings of bubur lambuk to all those who dropped by.

As a retailer committed to providing superior value to our customers, we also remain dedicated to contributing to the well-being of the communities around us. We’re happy to connect and celebrate with our customers and the local community as they shop for great deals while enjoying a favourite Ramadan treat,” said Country Chief Operating Officer of Courts Malaysia, Dolf Posthumus.

They also interacted and played a host of games with the crowd. Thereafter, customers, guests and volunteers were treated to a special iftar hosted by Courts.

“I am thrilled to be a part of Courts Malaysia’s Ramadan initiative and to celebrate this meaningful event. It is a wonderful experience to share the festivities with everyone and to support Courts’ efforts in being a caring contributor to our community,” said Nana.

Nana’s sentiments were echoed by Hunny Madu who said, “It was heartwarming to meet fans and hand out the delicious bubur lambuk prepared to everyone. Thanks to Courts for recognising the value of community bonding and bringing people together for such a lovely session.”
