Bernice Liu looks back in anger over breakup with Moses Chan
HONG KONG: Actress Bernice Liu, 39, is still looking back in anger when it comes talking about her former boyfriend Moses Chan.
They had gone separate ways seven years ago, ostensibly because Bernice had started dating a wealthy businessman.
But Bernice now insists that she and Moses had already broken off their relationship before she started on a new romance.
Canada-based Bernice has not met Moses since their split.
Moses had moved on. He and actress wife Aimee Chan are happy parents of three children.
On whether she would like to meet up with Moses, Bernice said: “Since he already has a family, I have to send my blessings to him. The most important thing is that the children are healthy.”
As for the still-single Bernice who is dating another businessman, it’s a hectic life taking care of seven dogs.
But she is open to the idea of adopting children, and may also consider freezing her eggs.
Previously, Bernice had also dated actor Hawick Lau while filming Virtues of Harmony.
He helped her with conversational Cantonese and comprehension of drama scripts.
Was it a positive experience working with someone she was dating? Bernice said, “Of course it’s a good thing. My Chinese improved a lot! Filming for day and night for four years, if you ask if there will be sparks between us? Yes, of course because we are only human.”
Hawick went on to marry actress Yang Mi.
