Malaysia to host CEPSI 2018
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will host the 22nd edition of the Conference of Electric Power Supply Industry 2018 (CEPSI 2018) and themed, “Re-imagining Utility of the Future”, over six days from Sept 17, 2018.
The annual CEPSI is hosted by a country around the East Asia and Western Pacific regions.
“Brought to you by the Association of the Electricity Supply Industry of East Asia and the Western Pacific (AESIEAP) and Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), CEPSI 2018 is a powerful platform for energy players to discuss the future of our world’s energy,” Energy Watch said.
The conference is set to explore some of the trending topics under the categories that have made headlines over the past year, among which is sustainability and green energy, generation and future alternatives, transmission and future grid, as well as smart grid and new technology.
The four keynote speakers are IBM’s Energy, Environment and Utility Industry global managing director Brad Gammons, McKinsey and Company senior partner Dr Jonathan Woetzel,Tesla Energy Asia Pacific regional manager of business development Lara Olsen and ABB Group Power Grids Division senior group vice president of South Asia, Middle East and Africa, Venu Nuguri.
Gammons, Woetzel, Olsen and Nuguri will be joined by other eminent speakers to give participants an unique opportunity to hear from the world’s leading experts.
Participants of the internationally prestigious CEPSI 2018 will also get the chance to meet, engage, share experiences, and discover new ideas with policymakers, industry leaders and influential thinkers of the electricity supply industry.
